23 Trick or Treat Sprites are live — Halloween versions of Sonic, Klombo, Crash and more

Week two of Fortnitemares is here. The Trick or Treat variants that have been sitting locked in the files since v42.30 unlocked on Thursday, October 8, with the daily Sprite reset at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. That is 23 new entries in the catalog, and with the Trick or Treat Crown from last week, the full Trick or Treat set is now 24.
These are not new powers. They are Halloween versions of Sprites you already know, from Jonesy and Sonic all the way to last week's Vampire and The Deer.

Every one keeps the power of its base Sprite, and adds a chance to find candy when you open containers. All 24 are Special rarity on the cards.
If you play in Sydney or New Zealand, the reset lands on October 9 your time, so give it until tomorrow before you go looking.
Leveling them
Good news for anyone who spent last week grinding eliminations for Bounty Hunters: Trick or Treat Sprites level the normal way. Searching chests, smashing pumpkins, opening containers, extracting Sprites, and eliminations all give Sprite XP.
Two exceptions. Trick or Treat Klombo still only levels by eating items, same as regular Klombo. The Trick or Treat Crown still follows Crown rules — master the Bounty Hunter Crown first, then win a match with it equipped.
And if you are chasing Trick or Treat Klombo, settle in. It is by far the rarest spawn in the set.
How to find them
- Pumpkins and Pumpkin Chests. Still the main source. Nightmare Neighborhood has the most of them.
- Trick or Treat Cheats. Input a code at an Override console. Legendary codes are still the best bet for variants.
- Rare chests and Vaults. Worth opening any you come across.
- Not the Admin Panel. Admin Panel codes still cannot redeem Fortnitemares Sprites.
Most Trick or Treat variants also show up near where their base Sprite lives. The Sonic trio hangs around Green Hill Zone, Blinky turns up on the Pac-Man islands at night, and Spooky Dash and Vampire are in Nightmare Neighborhood.
Still locked
Honey — Thursday, October 15. Sends bees after enemies who damage you.
Obsession — Thursday, October 15. Lets One Wish Willow help you collect other Sprites.
Those are the last two #DesignASprite winners and the end of the Fortnitemares line. Same caveat as always: Epic has slipped Sprite unlocks before, so we will post when they are actually live.
Tracking and trading them
All 23 are in the catalog now with artwork and full cards. Mark each one Missing, Collected, or Mastered from the website or with the slash commands in Discord.
Twenty-three new variants at once is a lot of pumpkins. If the RNG is not on your side, trade for what you are missing. Anything you own can be offered in a trade with members of a Discord server you share.
Browse the full catalog to see every Trick or Treat card. Happy hunting — and check every pumpkin.
