Add Sprite Broker to your Discord server
Sprite Broker gives your community a shared Fortnite Sprite collection tracker and a structured trading system — with the moderation tools in your hands. Installing takes a minute; setup takes two commands.
You'll need the Manage Server permission on the server you're adding it to — that's Discord's rule for adding any bot.
1. Add the bot
Use the button above. Discord shows you the server picker and the exact permissions being requested — the same list explained further down this page. Approve it and the bot joins immediately; its slash commands appear in your server within a few moments.
2. Choose where trade notifications go
Run /spriteadmin setchannel and pick a channel. That's where the bot posts trade activity — including trades your members start on the website — so nothing happens silently. Leave the channel option blank to use the channel you're typing in.
/spriteadmin showchannel tells you what's currently set, and clears it if you want to change your mind. All/spriteadmin commands require Administrator on your server.
3. Turn on support tickets (optional)
Run /spriteadmin setsupportchannel to pick a channel where ticket threads get created. Each ticket your members open — with/support new in Discord, or from the website — becomes a private thread in that channel, visible to your staff rather than the whole server. Skip this step and tickets still work; they just stay on the website.
4. Point your members at their collections
Members sign in at spritebroker.com with Discord — no separate account — and their collection follows them across every server that runs the bot. From there they can mark Sprites Missing, Collected or Mastered, browse the Sprite catalog, post to the Wanted board, and propose trades to people in your server. What the bot asks for, and why
Sprite Broker requests the narrowest set of permissions that lets it do its job. It does not ask for Administrator, Manage Roles, Manage Messages, or the ability to mention everyone.

You can tighten this further with Discord's per-channel permissions — the bot only needs access where you actually point it. It will tell you if it can't do its job in a channel you pick.
If something doesn't work
- "I can't send messages in #channel." The bot needs View Channel and Send Messages in that specific channel. Grant them there, or pick a different channel.
- "I can't run ticket threads in #channel." Ticket threads need View Channel, Create Private Threads and Send Messages in Threads. The bot names the missing ones in its reply — grant those, or choose another channel.
- The slash commands don't appear. Give Discord a moment to sync them, then reload your client. If they're still missing, the bot may have been added without the
applications.commandsscope — remove it and re-install with the button above. - A member's servers don't show up on the website. They need to have granted the servers permission at sign-in; logging out and back in re-prompts.
