22 new Sprites are live — Treasure Hunters brings Lil' Flacko, Fortune variants, and Wanted Posters

Land ho. The v43.00 update kicked off the Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini season on Sunday, November 1, and it swapped the whole Island out for Crossbones Isle — One Piece powers, A$AP Rocky's ship, and a fresh batch of pirate-themed Sprites. Eleven brand-new Sprite powers shipped today, each with a new Fortune version. That is 22 new entries in the catalog on day one, and the Cursed versions of all eleven are waiting behind them.
It is a short season — about five weeks — and Epic is dropping something new every week, so this is not the last Sprite post you will see from us in November.
Live right now
Halfpeel'd — Marks eliminations on the map. The detection range grows with each Level Up.
Re-Pete — Faster reloads, with a chance that a reload refunds your ammo.
Barry O'Fish — Sprinting in water costs less stamina. Hit max level and you get the Slap effect.
Exmarks — Reveals nearby Treasure Maps and Wanted Posters, and spawns a Treasure Map at max level. If you are hunting Sprites this season, equip this one first.
Plundarrgh — Opening a Chest gives you a burst of pickaxe and movement speed.
Chester — Chests have a chance to spawn extra loot, and you take no fall damage.
Wayfinder — Reveals nearby Sprites and pulls extra loot out of Buried Chests. The other Sprite hunter's best friend.
Kelper — Restores health over time while you are in water, with bigger heals at each level.
Lil' Squibbly — Jump into a fishing hole to fish it and score bonus loot.
Lil' Flacko — Creates a small shockwave when you land, knocking opponents back. This one does not come from a chest — see below.
Sweet Dreams — The Dream Sprite's distant cousin. Grants a random item at every Level Up and bursts into Mythic loot at max level.
And the eleven Fortune variants:
- Fortune Halfpeel'd
- Fortune Re-Pete
- Fortune Barry O'Fish
- Fortune Exmarks
- Fortune Plundarrgh
- Fortune Chester
- Fortune Wayfinder
- Fortune Kelper
- Fortune Lil' Squibbly
- Fortune Lil' Flacko
- Fortune Sweet Dreams
Epic has not published rarities for the new powers, so we will put them on the cards once the in-game text confirms them.
The new variants
Treasure Hunters brings two brand-new variant types:
Fortune — Reveals nearby Chests.
Cursed (not live yet) — Raises your chance of finding rare Sprite variants, but water hurts you while it is equipped. On an Island this wet, that is a real trade-off — think twice before you swim to the next POI.
Lil' Flacko is a boss drop
Today is the first Captain's Day. A$AP Rocky is docked aboard The $.$. Rocky as the Island's first Boss. Take him down and he can drop his Shock Rocket along with the Lil' Flacko Sprite. If you see his ship on the map, that is where your Flacko is.
How to find them
The big change this season is the Wanted Poster:
- Find a Wanted Poster on a wall and tear it down.
- It turns into a Sprite Treasure Map that points to a buried Sprite Chest.
- Dig it up with your pickaxe and open it for your Sprite.
Posters show up all over the Island, mostly in and around POIs. Exmarks reveals them for you, and Wayfinder gets you extra loot once you dig the chest up.
Regular Chests still give Sprites too — and Chests now refill over time, so a Chest you already looted is worth coming back to.
Still locked
Cursed variants — date not announced. Cursed versions of all eleven new Sprites are part of this season, but Epic has not said when they unlock. Reports point to next week.
Gold Sprites — Thursday, November 12. Gold is back, and this time it grants bonus XP for eliminations.
Week 2 — Saturday, November 7. Lil Uzi and Cuddle Team Leader arrive, and Epic is teasing "strange new Sprites" with them.
Week 3 — Saturday, November 14. Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto take over the resort.
Week 4 — Saturday, November 21. Oscar sails in with the Frenzy Auto Shotgun.
Same caveat as always: unreleased entries do not have confirmed rarities yet, and Epic has slipped Sprite unlocks before. We will post when they are actually live.
Mastery Monday is tomorrow
Mastery Monday runs every Monday from 9 AM ET, starting tomorrow, November 2: 2x Sprite XP and 2x Sprite Dust all day. Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters also spawn in bigger numbers this season, so Monday is the day to fill your collection.
Sprite Mastery rewards are back
The Sprite Mastery track returns under the Treasure tab in the Lobby, with a new page every week. Master Sprites to earn Lucky Locators, Golden Fireworks and other Gizmos, and watch the Sprite Mastery Strongbox Back Bling upgrade as you go. Master 40 Sprites and you unlock the Navigator's Nosedive Umbrella.
Two small quality-of-life changes landed too: this season's Sprites now show in numbered order on the Sprites screen, and each Sprite carries a Sprite Stamp showing how you got it.
Tracking and trading them
All 22 are in the catalog with artwork and full cards. Mark each one Missing, Collected, or Mastered from the website or with the slash commands in Discord, and the Cursed, Gold and Week 2 entries will light up here as they unlock.
If the Wanted Posters are not being kind to you, trade for what you are missing. Anything you own can be offered in a trade with members of a Discord server you share.
Browse the full catalog to see the artwork and every Sprite's card. Gather your crew — see you on Crossbones Isle.
