Mastery Monday is live — the last easy leveling day before Bounty Hunter Sprites

Mastery Monday runs a full 24 hours from today's reset: doubled Sprite XP, doubled Sprite Dust on extraction, and much better odds on the two highest rarity tiers. Standard Monday, same shape as September 7.
What is not standard is the calendar. The Bounty Hunter variants unlock on Thursday, September 24, and they do not level the way anything else in your collection levels. They only have a chance to appear when you eliminate an opponent, and they only gain levels from eliminations — no chest farming, no quiet landing spots, no passive progress. Once that tier lands, "spend a boosted Monday leveling things" stops being a plan you can run across the whole catalog.
So treat today as the last easy one. Whatever you want mastered before the hard tier arrives, master it now.
When it runs
The event covers a full 24 hours from the Monday reset:
- PT — 6:00 AM Sept 21 through 6:00 AM Sept 22
- ET — 9:00 AM Sept 21 through 9:00 AM Sept 22
- Brazil (BRT) — from 10:00 AM Sept 21
- UK (BST) — from 2:00 PM Sept 21
- Europe (CEST) — from 3:00 PM Sept 21
- Japan / South Korea — from 10:00 PM Sept 21
- Australia (AEST) — from 11:00 PM Sept 21
- New Zealand (NZST) — from 1:00 AM Sept 22
No sessions to catch and no windows to miss. Every bonus stops the moment the day rolls over, so anything you were holding back for double Dust needs to be extracted before then.
What's boosted
- Spawn rates — Legendary and Mythic Sprites appear much more often.
- XP boost — equipped Sprites level twice as fast. Level 5 is Mastered.
- Sprite Dust — earn 2x Sprite Dust from extractions.
- Extra gear — complete daily challenges to snag extra Portable Extractors.
The XP half of that only counts for Sprites you actually have equipped, which makes an empty slot the most expensive mistake available today.
How to spend the day
Fill every slot, and fill it with something unfinished. Doubled XP on a Sprite already sitting at Level 5 is worth exactly nothing. Slot the ones partway up the track, rotate as they cap, and leave the untouched entries for a normal week if you are short on time.
Push the mastery count, not the collection count. v42.20 added two reward tracks: extract 30 Sprites for the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling, master 70 for the Pixel Polli Outfit. Only one of those moves twice as fast today.
Master the Loot Hacker Crown. Winning a match with it is the only route to the Bounty Hunter Crown, and it is the closest thing to a rehearsal for Thursday. If you have been putting it off, this is the day with the most padding.
Bank extractions now, spend the Dust on Legendary codes. Dust spends the same whenever you earn it, so one run banked today is worth two of the same run tomorrow. And since v42.20, Legendary Cheat Codes guarantee a variant Sprite weighted toward the higher rarities, Epic codes have much better variant odds, and the pity system quietly improves your chances the longer you go without a new pull. Mastering a Sprite also halves the Dust needed to summon it — today compounds in both directions.
Pick up the Portable Extractors early. They let you bank a Sprite without hiking to a fixed extraction point, which is the difference between keeping a Mythic pull and handing it to whoever third-parties you on the way there. Clear the daily challenges first, then go hunting with one in your pocket.
What to chase
The spawn boost covers rarity tiers rather than a featured list, so open your tracker and hunt whatever Legendary and Mythic entries are still marked Missing.
Two of the newest additions sit right in the boosted band: Crash Bandicoot and Blinky both landed Legendary in the v42.20 drop last Thursday. Pond is Epic, so the spawn bonus does not help there — but the XP and Dust bonuses do not care what you are carrying, and neither does the mastery counter.
If everything at the top of your list is already Collected, spend the day on levels and Dust instead. That is the version of today that pays off on Thursday.
Tracking and trading them
Mark each Sprite Missing, Collected, or Mastered from the website or with slash commands in Discord — today is the day that third status actually starts moving. Anything you own can be offered in a trade with members of a Discord server you share, and duplicates out of the boosted spawns are exactly what the wanted ads are for.
Good luck out there, and get your levels in before Thursday.
