Gold and Cheat Master Hours today — 30 boosted variants across two windows

Two Power Hour sessions run today, and both of them are pointed at the top of the variant ladder. Gold and Cheat Master spawn rates are boosted island-wide for the length of each window — 30 variants in rotation, fifteen Gold and fifteen Cheat Master.

When the Power Hours run

Each session runs two hours. Session 2 lands on September 13 in a lot of regions, so check your row before you plan around it.

What's boosted

  • Gold Sprite spawn rates across the island for the full window
  • Cheat Master Sprite spawn rates on the same fifteen-Sprite lineup
  • Buffed Overdrive Grenades — everyone drops in with them, no loadout hunting required
  • 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors in Chests, on top of the usual loot

The thirty variants in rotation

Both lines cover the same fifteen Sprites, so every spawn you run into is a two-way chance:

Jonesy, Adventure, Bushranger, Sonic, Tails, Shadow, 8-Bit, Jackrabbit, Crown, Killswitch, Klombo, Storm Scout, Overshield, X-Ray, and Onigiri — each with a Gold and a Cheat Master variant live in both windows.

How to play the windows

Open Chests early and often. The 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors only show up in Chests during the event, and Extractors are what turn a spawn you found into a Sprite you actually keep — running dry halfway through a window is the most common way to waste one.

The buffed Overdrive Grenades are free rotation, which matters more than it sounds. Boosted spawn rates are a per-match roll, so the players who come out of a Power Hour with the most pulls are usually the ones who covered the most of the island, not the ones who won the most fights. Land, sweep, grenade out, repeat.

If you only have time for one session, Session 2 is the quieter of the two in North America — fewer contested drops, same spawn table.

Tracking and trading them

Mark your pulls as you go in the Sprite Tracker so you can see which of the thirty you still need before the second window opens, and post your spares on the trade board — Gold and Cheat Master duplicates move fast on event days.
